Hi everybody, my name is Welby! I love my name because when you say it backwards, it is Be Well. That is important because I am a registered therapy dog with Pet Partners and my handler Dee and I want everyone that we meet to Be Well! We live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Minnesota area and stay very busy visiting at hospitals and assisted living centers. We also love to attend parades and special events, where I entertain everyone with my singing and dancing. Dee and I are also a Pet Partners AACR (Animal Assisted Crises Response) team.
I am an Irish Cream Golden Retriever field dog, which means that I can move fast and my nose never stops sniffing. When I meet new people, I like to sniff their shoes because I can tell where they have been been and what they ate for lunch!
I am always smiling and my tail never stops wagging! I hope you can follow me on my Be Well Adventures!
